What is Slido?
Try SlidoSlido is a cloud-based software service for real-time audience engagement at meetings, training, workshops, and events. Participants can interact during an event by contributing to what’s shown on the screen, while the event organizer controls how interactions work and what audiences can see. Depending on how the organizer sets the event, participation may be visible to other attendees or restricted to specific groups.
What is Slido and what can participants do during an event?
Slido is a cloud-based service that enables real-time, active engagement for meetings, training, workshops, and events. During an event, participants can post items that may appear on the screen, depending on how the organizer sets up the event.
What are the ground rules for using Slido?
When using Slido, you must not post content that breaks applicable laws, violates the organizer’s instructions, or includes things like advertising/solicitation, impersonation, libel, discrimination, threats, abuse, spamming, or sexually explicit content. You also can’t interfere with the service or underlying systems, and Slido may remove content, delete it, or block access if you don’t follow the rules.
Who can see what I post in Slido?
In all cases, content you post may appear on the screen at the event you’re attending. If the event is set as private, your posts may only be seen by the organizer (and their company/organization), relevant third parties the organizer provides, other participants, and Slido staff plus its Subprocessors and Service Providers.
How does the organizer use the information collected from participants?
The event organizer collects the information and decides the purposes for which it’s used, while Slido uses participant information only as permitted by the organizer’s organization and as reasonably necessary to provide and maintain the service, handle security/support issues, enforce the Terms of Service, protect against harm or illegal activity, respond to emergencies (as applicable), or comply with law and regulation.
Can organizers enable integrations?
Yes. The organizer may turn certain integrations on for participants, and if you have questions about those integrations you should contact the organizer.
What happens if I want to leave feedback about Slido?
You can provide feedback, and Slido states that it takes your experience seriously. If you provide feedback, Slido says it will own the intellectual property rights in your feedback and anything created as a result, including new material or enhancements.
