Plausible
Simple, privacy-first web analytics dashboard

What is Plausible?
Try PlausiblePlausible is a privacy-first web analytics dashboard that helps you understand how visitors find and use your site. It’s designed to make audience segmentation quick and actionable—without cookies, consent popups, or complex setup. You can filter your dashboard in one click to explore acquisition, technology, geography, and on-site behavior, and then use goals, events, and funnels to measure conversions.
What is Plausible and how does it help with audience segmentation?
Plausible gives you reliable web analytics and lets you turn raw visitor numbers into actionable audience segments. In the dashboard, you can apply filters in one click to study groups based on where visitors came from, what devices they use, where they’re located, and what they do on your site.
How can I segment my audience in Plausible without complex setup?
Plausible provides basic segments by default, and you can click entries in the dashboard to filter it to only the matching data. You can also save segments for quick access later, so you can repeat the same audience views when you need them again.
Does Plausible use cookies or collect personal data for analytics?
No. Plausible skips cookies entirely and does not store personal data that can identify individuals. It processes analytics anonymously using irreversibly hashed visitor identifiers, and raw IP address and User-Agent aren’t stored in logs, databases, or on disk.
How does Plausible filter bot and spam traffic?
Plausible includes built-in filtering to exclude bot traffic, referrer spam, and data center traffic. It also strips query parameters from page reports by default to help keep reporting clean and privacy-friendly.
Can I segment by what people do on the site (events, goals, and funnels)?
Yes. You can turn pages into goals, track actions like clicks and downloads, and use custom events to segment by what visitors actually do. Plausible also supports conversion funnels so you can see where people drop off across a defined sequence.
Can I connect Plausible to Google Search Console for keyword-based segmentation?
Yes. Plausible integrates with Google Search Console so search terms and clicks appear directly in your dashboard, and you can filter by the “Google” traffic source to see which keywords drive real visitors.
