You send a JSON payload with text and external asset URLs, and Bannerbear renders the final visuals through its image, video, GIF, PDF, collections, and movie endpoints. What can I generate with Bannerbear?
Bannerbear lets you generate templated images, image collections (multiple variations), high-resolution vector PDFs, animated GIFs, and videos (including versions with multiple overlays). You can also create a single “movie” by combining multiple video and image assets, and you can generate these assets by sending a JSON payload with your template ID and modification values.
How does Bannerbear work if I’m using templates?
You create a template (or template set) and then send Bannerbear a JSON payload that fills in template layers using text and external file URLs. For collections and PDFs, you can target a template set and render many outputs from the same set of input values, while video and GIF generation uses the appropriate video or GIF template parameters.
